Letter from Beron Tharyon

Dear Talnesa and Llandras,

I hope this letter finds you well. A friend of mine has told me young Reryna has dreams of becoming a stridermaster like her mother. As an old friend, and as a stridermaster myself, it is encouraging to see the younger generation taking an interest in our work. I, too, would like to see her achieve her dreams. With that in mind, I would like to take Reryna on as my apprentice.

I understand that you may be reluctant to let her go. I remember when Galviso and Sovor left home for Almalexia. But I would like to reassure you that your daughter will be in good hands. Valnysa and I would be more than happy to let her into our home, and I will make sure she stays safe during her training.

I hope this letter will encourage you to allow Reryna to become my apprentice. As a friend, I believe you can trust me. And do visit! We would love to have you over again.

Sincerely,

Beron Tharyon
