These High Elves pay well for this sentry work, but the sounds I hear from the underground are making me want to jump ship. Fryfryd managed to convince Anellius to try to peek in, but they caught him and before he knew it he was naked outside.

[The last entry says:]

We haven't seen Anellius since he was posted to guard the upstairs quarters. Marduk claims he heard a crashing noise upstairs. When he went to check on Anellius, he was nowhere to be found.

It's been a week now, and we haven't seen Anellius anywhere. Tarayanenquen claims he requested time off the security detail. I know him, he would never do such a thing without consulting us first.

We ended up getting a pay increase to balance his cut, but I don't think we're going to stay much longer. I swear I've been hearing screams in my sleep now. We need to get out of here.
