Ebon Hill Tourney Program

Welcome, Citizen, to the Tourney of the Ebon Hill!

The City of Old Ebonheart presents this tournament in celebration of our newly crowned King, His Majesty Hlaalu Helseth, Lord of Morrowind, and his friends and bannermen from High Rock, many of whom have found new homes within our proud walls.

The tournament shall be carried out in High Rock fashion: each fighter shall engage another in an honorable duel. The defeated party shall present the victor with a choice of spoils and exit the tournament. The victor shall proceed to the next bout. The victor of the final bout shall be named Champion of the Ebon Hill.

The Champion of the Ebon Hill will win that priceless gemstone known as "the Jewel of the Bay." The crown jewel of Wayrest -- a city which shares the epithet, of which it is most deserving -- and a lasting symbol of its splendor, the diamond was cut six centuries ago to mark the coronation of Eodoric the Gold King. It remained in Wayrest's royal treasury until 3E 426, whereupon the East Empire Company secured its purchase.
