Letter from Breynard Ancois
My Dearest Ulyne,
With quill in hand and heart aflame,
I pen these words to you, fair dame,
In dreams of days when we'll be free,
Unburdened by chains that shackle thee.
Like a songbird trapped in gilded cage,
Your spirit yearns for an open stage,
Where love's sweet notes can freely soar,
And shadows of Oblivion are seen no more.
A knight of noble lineage true,
I've traversed realms to rescue you,
From that man's grasp, his cruel embrace,
To bring you solace, in Mara's own grace.
Oh, Ulyne, like a rose midst thorns concealed,
Your heart's true desires must be revealed,
In moonlit letters, our hopes entwine,
Two souls bound, by Arkay's design.
With all the fervor of a Breton's heart,
I send this plea, my love's own art,
To hold you close, in my arms so true,
And make our dreams, together, bloom anew.
Eternally Yours,
Breynard Ancois
