The Gift Of Consolation

[This ancient scroll, although old and brittle, contains a poem of unknown origin. However, those who dare know say that it is one of Vivec's thought-poems, which describes his intention to build the Great Ghostfence.]

I will make of your word a symbol without reason to all but the dead.

I will make of your sword a quill, a kiss and a thought.

I will make of your love a defense against the horizon.

I give this to you as to one who is no more.
