The legend of the vampire Akavorioc dwelling in the ruined city of Dun Akafell is well-known among the locals. Some believe that the monster is more than just a legend, though. A collective of nobles have paid us a handsome bounty to slay him. I need you to do this. Talk to the locals to find out what you can about the vampire and Dun Akafell. Some of the caravan guards at the Supai Caravanserai might also know something. If the legends have any truth to them, then you're in for a tough fight, %PCRank. Laalalvo Irano
According to the popular legend Akavorioc was a noble who turned into worshipping Molag Bal. However, the Daedroth was treacherous and cursed him with a neverending hunger for blood. Now the vampire prowls in the dark of the ruined Dun Akafell. If you manage to slay him you will be hailed a hero. Savant Akamora

You have purged this blasphemy from the world? Well done, %PCClass. This was a great act of nobility and courage. You have the thanks of House Indoril, as does your guild. Galsu Indalas
I understand that some of the common folk claim that the vampire was once an Indoril noble. A preposterous invention. Nevertheless, there is certainly a great evil lurking in Dun Akafell. If you can cleanse the ruins then that would raise the standing of the Fighters Guild in the eyes of House Indoril. Galsu Indalas
You should talk to Renesa Serin about that. She's journeyed past Dun Akafell many a time and she listens out for that kind of story. You'll find her on the roof terrace, up through the trap door over there. Revas Supai
Don't look at me. I couldn't deal with bandits, there's no chance of me venturing anywhere near Dun Akafell. That place is cursed, I tell you. Hozgub gro-Hazor
The monster really existed and you really killed it? That's amazing, %PCName. Here, have a drink on me. Renesa Serin
You must be brave or stupid to consider taking on that monster. I'm not convinced it even exists, in which case you'd be wasting your life for nothing. But I'll tell you what I know. According to the legend, Akavorioc was a nobleman of House Indoril before he became a vampire. If so then it makes sense to start looking in the manor district of Dun Akafell, which is supposed to be in the southwest corner. Renesa Serin Disposition ≥ 30
I was escorting a caravan to Akamora. We had been delayed and the sun had already set. It was too close to Dun Akafell but the caravan leader refused to go any further in the dark, so we made camp. Shortly after midnight we woke to the sound of screaming. In one of the tents a guard lay dead with his throat ripped out. The other five people in the tent had just vanished. We abandoned the camp and fled away in the dark. We lost another dozen men before dawn. We never found the bodies. Just trails of blood. Galvena Thelvil
You slew the monster? How did you... No, don't tell me. I'd rather not hear about that cursed place. Supai Caravanserai
The Fighters Guild must be out of their minds. Going near Dun Akafell usually leads only to death. Or worse. Supai Caravanserai
Eyes of fire, skin of stone. A true son of Coldharbour he is. The fiend will be accompanied by the broken-willed mortals who yielded to his tortures. They don't know what they're doing, and a knowing soul wouldn't harm them. Surol Volayn Akamora
So, the vampire of Dun Akafell has been slain. This proves that the Fighters Guild is not *completely* useless. Noble Akamora

Chasing after an old horror story, are you? The n'wah Guild is sending you for slaughter. No bloodhound of the Empire will survive a minute in Dun Akafell. Noble Akamora

The local Dunmer have many deranged stories concerning the ruins of Dun Akafell, so I guess anything's possible. No sane person would go there. Imperial Akamora
