As I said, I'll have an answer in due time.

Interesting. I'll get back to you all with a number in due time. What, did you expect an answer right now? Take this and leave me.

Yes, I've been expecting this for quite some time.

Historically, this branch has given you a very generous interest rate on that loan. If you want me to keep it up, you're going to need a pretty good reason.

Not for my mortal eyes. Take it upstairs to Phedre Briricca.

Delegation, %PCName. That means "not my problem."

Alright. This is a loan extension request directed to the Briricca Private Bank. Out in the town square, they're two doors left of us. Take this to Phedre Briricca, the branch manager.

What? Quilmaro really wanted me to look at this? Well, I guess I can.

Kindly escort that away from my desk. With respect, my deputy can handle it.

That sounds like Quilmaro work. Absolutely none of my concern.

%PCName, I've really just gotten here. Kindly direct your query to Zenurie, my deputy.

Phedre likes to play coy, but I'm sure she'll renew that loan. The Bririccas are already major shareholders of the East Empire Company, so in a way, they're just lending to themselves. Did you want another assignment?

Phedre'll want to see that.

If you insist.

This is great! Phedre's going to love it: such splendidly drawn shapes, and the colors are simply out of this world... Oh, Phedre Briricca manages the bank's local branch. We ran in the same circles back in the City. You'll find her just two doors left of us in the town square. Head over there, and take this with you. It's got the signature it needs.

So it's done! Let me take a look...

I'm sure it'll be fine.

You found it!

That sounds like something Lorindil gave me the other day. She wanted me to look over it, but I just haven't found a good moment yet. If you need it back, it should be around here somewhere.

Thank you for handling that, %PCName.

Please take it upstairs. Do as the factor asks. In a pinch, her deputy's signature will do.

This checks out. It is correct. I am confident it will persuade. However, this missive will not carry the proper authority until it bears the signature of our factor-in-chief, which I now request you acquire. If you've forgotten, Lady Vendicci's office is located upstairs in the central tower, behind Zenurie Mondette's desk.

Is Cano done with it? Let me have a look.

I am urgently waiting for Cano to finish it.

You'll excuse me, %PCRank. There's a deal with the Hlaalu Council Company that demands my full attention.

Right, Mero Maro asked for this. Today's his lucky day.

Not my job, %PCRank. But you've reminded me that Mero Maro wanted this for his end of it. Try and see the poor man gets it.

I've gotten this far without Cano roping me into that. Ask a whiteshirt.

Good thing we got it in on time, eh?

If you're looking for Lorindil, I bet Mero Maro knows where she is.

Is there anything else you wanted?

At long last, as requested, here is my end of the esteemed Briricca report. Take this to Cano with my most heartfelt blessings.

Hehe... No need for that! It just so happens that when I turned to face you for this conversation, I caught just the slightest glimpse of what appeared to be a pen on my desk. On further inspection, it appears that this is, indeed, not only a pen but my pen! Thank you so very much for helping me find it. I will now finish this immediately. Just one short, tiny, small little paragraph left to go on this report.

Thank you very much! I can tell you that I will be treasuring this fondly for quite some time. Quite some time indeed.

Of course. Here you go.

At long last, as requested, here is my end of the Briricca report. Take this to Cano with my most heartfelt blessings. Oh, you didn't want the pen back, did you?

Hehe... Thank you. I will finish this immediately. Just one short, tiny, small little paragraph to go on this little report.

As I said, I can't finish it! Not until I find my pen.

Aha, yes! I have been working very hard on this, just as Cano requested, and let me tell you, I'm just about done with it, but there's just one wrinkle. You see, I seem to have misplaced my pen! Now, look: there's only one little sentence left on the page, and I can't write it. Not until I have my pen! But rest assured that from THIS moment forward, all of my mental energies will be devoted entirely to finding it. You can tell Cano I said that! I know him, and believe me, he'll like that I said that.

Well done on that spot of work, %PCName.

Please enjoy.

Here you are. Please enjoy.

Cano didn't like it? Let me have another look...

Cano didn't like it? Let me have another look so I can give it another try.

Lorindil is down in the basement archives.

Enjoy. By the way, if you're looking for Lorindil, she's down in the basement archives.

Thank you, good %PCClass! For my end of the report, I have to write a summary of the previous years' reports, and this one was hard to find indeed. Excuse me for one moment.

Ask Mette if she grabbed what I needed from the vaults. Her office is just upstairs.

Sorry, friend, but there's an older Briricca report from last year I need to look at before I finish up this one. Ask Mette Black-Briar if she got it from the vaults like I asked. Her office is just upstairs.

Thank you for getting it in on time, %PCName.

You've got this, %PCName.

You have my report. Bring it to Cano.

I handed it to Zenurie Mondette for review. Go upstairs, up the central tower, and ask her.

I finished my end of that project a while ago. I asked Zenurie Mondette to look over my report, but if Cano needs it now, get it now. To find Zenurie, head back up to the lobby and take the stairs up the central tower.

You don't work for the Company anymore, %PCName. We can't talk about this.

We first took out that loan to fund Marki's work on the eastern Aanthirin. We would have paid it back on time, with interest, if not for his sudden absence. The shipping delays forced us to request an extension. You came in just as we were finishing the write-up.

Thank you very much for taking care of that, %PCName.

Just do what the higher-ups say. It's out of my hands now.

Take it to my boss, Quilmaro. He's the Altmer in the robe. His office is just upstairs, next to Mette Black-Briar's.

Here we are. I'll need you to hand this to my boss, Quilmaro. His office is just upstairs, next to Mette Black-Briar's.

Splendid. One second, %PCName...

Talk to me when I can read Maro's report.

I can't read Mero Maro's writing. I'm going to need him to do this one over.

Thank you, %PCName, and well done. I'm going to gather these into a single report now, and I'll need you to bring it to my supervisor. Just a second...

The Briricca Report of 3E 426? No, that's an old report. Get me the newest report from Mero Maro and the others.

I've delegated it to Crendal Barthe, Mero Maro, and Lorindil. Talk to me when you've secured all three of their reports. Crendal Barthe and Mero Maro are here at their desks, but I don't know where Lorindil is.

The Briricca Private Bank loaned us money for a project, and now they want an update on its progress. I've delegated that to the clerks: Crendal Barthe, Mero Maro, and Lorindil. Ask them each for their ends of the Briricca report. See what's holding them up. Talk to me when you have all three. Barthe and Maro are here at their desks; I don't know where Lorindil is.

Good luck on that, %PCName. The clerks have been fretting about it for a while.
