I didn't know him very well in life. But I've been taking care of this tomb long enough to know the spirits that aided him, and they were good people. Why would they choose to help someone so clearly committed to violence? Timayn Marelis
Thank you, %PCRank! You've saved lives today. Here -- take this. I was meant to leave it as an offering for Ilvrin, but considering the circumstances, I think you should have it instead. Hopefully you'll find it useful. Timayn Marelis
I apologize for not giving Alvynu the full story. The situation is desperate, but I didn't want to start a panic. And disaster can still be avoided if you pacify all of the spirits in the reception chamber. Timayn Marelis
From what I understand, you're the reason Ilvrin's in such a state. Helping us now would go a long way to making up for that. As much as I hate to even suggest it, I believe you'll need to put him and the other spirits in the reception chamber to rest forcefully. We can't allow a single one to escape into the city. With how they're acting, it would be a bloodbath. Timayn Marelis
I heard that you were able to deal with the ghost at the Fortuna peacefully. Please see if you can make the spirits in the reception chamber listen to reason, too. If not... I hate to even suggest it, but you'll need to put them to rest forcefully. We can't risk any of them escaping. With how they're acting, it would be a bloodbath. Timayn Marelis
You dealt with the ghost at the Fortuna, right? I hate to even suggest it, but I think you'll need to do the same here. Please clear out the reception chamber. These spirits are unhinged. If even a single one is allowed to escape into the city, it would be a bloodbath. Timayn Marelis
As soon as we interred his remains, his spirit materialized and began attacking us. We couldn't communicate with him at all -- he was completely deranged. He just kept screaming about revenge and the Camonna Tong. What's worse, some of his ancestors seem to have joined him. Now they're all trying to break out into Narsis together. When they breached the upper level, we had to evacuate the tomb. Timayn Marelis
You've been expelled from House Hlaalu, %PCName. It wouldn't be proper to discuss him with you. Sodreru Hlaalu
So be it. I'd hoped that Ilvrin couldn't possibly be so stupid as to try something like this, but clearly I thought too much of him. Please accept my apologies, both for any inconvenience I've caused you and Ilvrin's unacceptable behavior. I will have him removed from the Fortuna and ensure he understands the consequences of his actions. Sodreru Hlaalu
Is that so? The boy's always had a contrarian streak, but he's never been this stupid. I'll make sure he's removed from the casino's premises and disciplined accordingly. Please accept my sincere apologies. As the voice of the Sixth Family in Narsis, I assure you that we do not share his views. Sodreru Hlaalu
Have you been to the Grand Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb? If Ilvrin took one of our ancestors' urns, it would be from there. Sodreru Hlaalu
My deepest apologies, Speaker. This is, of course, completely unacceptable. I will have Ilvrin brought here to be disciplined appropriately. Rest assured that I will impress upon him both how important our business connections are and how incredibly profane his actions have been. Sodreru Hlaalu
Did he? This is a difficult situation, %PCRank. It's not that I doubt you, but family is the core of our operations here. I'm sure you understand that I can't just take the word of an outsider over a family member. If I am to intervene, I need a stronger case. Go to the Grand Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb. If Ilvrin did exploit one of our ancestors as you describe, he must have taken their urn from there. Confirm with the caretakers that Ilvrin has removed one recently. If so, I'll step in to assist you. Sodreru Hlaalu
That little bastard tried to burn down the casino! The guards cut him down before it could get too bad, thankfully, but my patrons couldn't get out of here fast enough. I would've had to mark the day as a loss if his mother hadn't covered the expenses. Vurvyn Othren
Everything's back to normal around here. Go tell Alvynu Llervas that the situation has been handled. Vurvyn Othren
Sodreru Hlaalu is dead? I don't care about your excuses, outlander. You're clearly unfit to be doing any work here. Run back to Alvynu. And count yourself lucky that you're leaving with two working legs. Vurvyn Othren
He's dead? On OUR property? Stupid outlander! Go back to Alvynu and tell her how badly you mucked this up. You're done here. Vurvyn Othren
He said his family will avenge him? That's funny. You should go to the Sixth Family Manor and tell Sodreru Hlaalu. I bet she'll find it even funnier than I do. Vurvyn Othren
You seem to be the authority in this situation, Speaker. Go to the Sixth Family Manor. If the ghost told you that Ilvrin was responsible, Sodreru will listen to you. Of course, if you wanted to make Ilvrin squirm a bit, you could stop and talk to him first. I'm sure it would be fun to turn his holier-than-thou routine against him. Vurvyn Othren
You could try confronting him directly, but I doubt you'll get far without proof. Better to go to the Sixth Family Manor and see if you can convince Sodreru Hlaalu somehow. I doubt it'll be that hard. She must be tired of his nonsense at this point. Vurvyn Othren
He's Sodreru Hlaalu's boy. And what a spoiled brat he is. He'd hardly joined the Temple before he turned around and started moralizing at us about how we make our money. The very same money that lets him do things like this instead of working for a living, mind you. Vurvyn Othren
That boy had so much potential. He could've been a big name if he'd just worked in line with his family's goals. Instead, he'll be remembered only as a cautionary tale for his kin -- if he's remembered at all. Sodreru must be furious. Alvynu Llervas
I see. I wish Timayn had been upfront about what was going on. Still, it seems you've resolved things satisfactorily. Thank you, %PCRank. I have more business for you when you're ready. Alvynu Llervas
Timayn Marelis is dead? %PCRank, your work here really has not been satisfactory. At all. Let's just hope the rest of the tomb's guards can deal with whatever business he had for you on their own. Alvynu Llervas
Go help Timayn Marelis at the Grand Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb with whatever he needs. I'd like to never hear Ilvrin's name again, if possible. Alvynu Llervas
I don't know what kind of business, exactly. And I can't imagine why they'd want you of all people after what you did. But they were very insistent that I send you. Talk to Timayn Marelis, the tomb's head caretaker, once you get there. We'll see if you can make up for your past wrongs. Alvynu Llervas
Yes. He got himself killed by the guards, if you weren't aware. After Sodreru chewed him out, he went back to the Fortuna, tried to burn the place down, and refused to yield to the law. It's all very sad. But honestly, given how he was acting, it was probably just a matter of time. Anyway. They didn't give me many details, so you should talk to Timayn Marelis once you get there. He's the tomb's head caretaker and should know what's going on. Alvynu Llervas
Yes, he was here not long ago. He went into the Sixth Family Tomb and left with the urn of his great-uncle, Dolvas Hlaalu. He hasn't been back to return it, so I would hope that he still has it. Caretaker Great House Hlaalu Grand Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb
You'll want to talk to one of the caretakers. It's their job to keep track of who's coming and going, and what -- or who -- they take with them. Great House Hlaalu Grand Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb
