I'm not sure who's responsible for the murder, or even who would want him dead, but I know who might know -- Idera Veralor. We frequent the same taverns, but the only time I've ever seen her in the Grand Bazaar was on the day of the murder, leaving the dead man's shop nonetheless. Her apartment is in the Velothi Tower, the large apartment building in the St. Veloth quarter of Narsis. Just go east and look up, you can't miss it.

I didn't see anything suspicious the day of the murder. But I know who did -- Harold Elk-Cleave. His shop is directly across from where Ralos used to be. Supposedly he saw someone he knew leaving.

One of my best customers. A gambling addict, of course. He wore through packs of cards faster than the casinos do. He spent almost every septim he wasn't gambling away at my shop.

He threw a drunk bosmer out of his shop the day before his murder. They had some kind of argument about prices before the elf went berserk and started smashing the place.

A shopkeeper of no consequence in the Narsis Grand Bazaar. But a target nonetheless. His writ being carried out without our knowledge indicates we no longer hold the monopoly on assassination in Narsis.
