No. You're right, of course. I'm still wearing it! Well then, a deal is a deal. And on my honor, I shall keep to it. Demaric Derroltane
No, I don't think I will. In fact, I tire of this coversation. If you are carrying the coin you claim, I'd much rather take it off your corpse! Demaric Derroltane
You're serious? Well, I suppose I can part with it. It's just a ring. Just a tiny little ring. Very well, give me the money first, and then I will give you the ring. Demaric Derroltane
No deal? Is that right? Then you'd better leave, before Jerulf here breaks your legs. Demaric Derroltane
Oh, a threat? And here I was thinking we were friends. Never mind. I much prefer killing enemies to making friends. Demaric Derroltane
I found it. I've grown quite attached to it. It suits me, don't you think? But if you want it, I'll sell it to you for a reasonable price. Shall we say... 2000 drakes? Demaric Derroltane Disposition ≥ 75
I've seen the leader of that group of local smugglers wearing a golden ring. Derroltan is his name. Struts around the place like we weren't here first. Mereda Lanerun Disposition ≥ 30
I don't know of a ring with that name. And if it was held in the chapel, well... the chapel is long gone. But there is an outlander, like you, who struts around the tower near the old gate. He and his crew, local smugglers, move goods to and fro, in the dark of night. He wears a ring like the one you describe. Nalen Ammadhubi Disposition ≥ 30
I haven't heard of it. The local smugglers have a leader, though, name of Derroltan. He wears a pretty fancy ring. Anur Eretan Disposition ≥ 30
Derroltan wears a ring. Maybe you could take it off his corpse? Stop him looking down his nose on us and pushing us around. Manibia Eretan Disposition ≥ 30
An impressive feat, %PCRank! You have brought the Ring of Respite back to where it belongs, We will protect it here in the Chapel of Akatosh, and it will bring the blessings of Akatosh upon this temple in turn, protecting us. As a reward, take this robe. It has an enchantment which may prove useful in your future errands. In fact, there is another dangerous errand for you to address. Tarom
Which brings me to the Ring of Respite. Through my research, I believe I have found its last attested location in Windbreaker Keep, where it was held at the chapel. Though many artifacts may have been lost in the intervening years, something as small as the Ring may have been overlooked. I want you to go to Windbreaker, and find that ring. It is a gold band, with a red gemstone. And prepare yourself well. There is no telling what dangers may lurk in that abandoned place. Tarom
Over a century ago, word of the failed Akaviri expedition reached Firewatch. Fearing retaliation, the Imperial Navy constructed three keeps on Morrowind's eastern shores: Icebreaker, still operative in Nivalis on Althoa; Wavebreaker, decaying on a storm-tossed rock south of Necrom; and Windbreaker, lying abandoned on the island of Moburan, far to the east of Helnim. You see, the feared invasion never came, and as the keeps were abandoned, so too were many relics of importance to the cult. Tarom
