Indeed. You have done me a great service, %PCRank. I shall not forget it.

You have done exactly as I asked, and you shall be rewarded as such. I give you the signet ring of my family. Wear it with the pride it deserves, %PCRank %PCName. You will always be welcome at the gardens of Roa Dyr.

Their corrupt minds cannot grasp concepts such as tradition. Loyalty. Family. They don't understand that those are what makes the Dunmer people strong. That the Dunmer pride in our past is the main reason why we haven't been entirely consumed by the Dragon. Once we let go of our past, we will let go of our souls, and our bodies simply become mere cogs in the Dragon's machine. And as long as I live, I shall not let such a fate happen. That is my promise to those who have been known as Indoril Ilvi before me.

Show me. [%Name carefully inspects the staff.] You speak the truth. This really is the blessed artifact of the first wise velk herders of the days of yore. And just like they diligently performed their duties and kept their velk herds safe, I have a duty to protect my flock from the Hlaalu grasp. And this is why the Hlaalu will ultimately be defeated, %PCRank.

I believe the instructions were clear. Don't make me regret putting my trust in you, %PCRank.

Yes? Do you bring good news, %PCRank?

I have heard that you claim to be the Nerevarine. You may not perform missions for %faction whilst you dishonor the memory of Saint Nerevar.

You have been expelled from %faction. You must make amends.

Seeing the staff made Lord Ilvi genuinely happy in a way I haven't witnessed in a while. Good work, %PCRank.

As you wish. May Almsivi watch over you.

This is not an easy incantation. Observe. [%Name teaches you a potent protection spell.]

Bring the staff directly to Lord Ilvi once you have it.

However, Lord Ilvi has trust in your abilities to carry out the sacred mission he has in mind. You shall go to the Ilvi Ancestral Tomb, found directly south of the village of Gol Mok, and retrieve the staff that has been used by Lord Ilvi's ancestors to command the first velk herds of Resdayn. To help you with the task, I can teach you a powerful protection spell that should keep you safe from the restless ancestral spirits.

This is a tremendous honor, %PCRank. The ancestral tomb of Lord Ilvi's bloodline has long been out of reach for us, it being located deep in the Hlaalu territory on the other side of the Thirr River. Even though we are confident that we will someday reclaim Khalaan's ancestral garden, unfortunately we also recognize that it will take many years to do so.
