I have heard that you claim to be the Nerevarine. You may not perform missions for %faction whilst you dishonor the memory of Saint Nerevar. Diranya
I almost can't believe what I'm reading. The rumors of a conspiracy were true after all! Indoril Ilvi will want to see this right away. We will be sure to put an end to the Syvvit Tong and their treacherous ways. This account book is clearly a forgery, but it is a helpful starting place for further investigations. Good work, %PCRank. Here is your reward. Speak to me again when you are ready for more missions. Diranya

Interesting. It makes sense that the Syvvit Tong would attract a criminal like Dolyn Volor. It's a pity he's dead, as I would have liked to interrogate him further. As for the account book, there is nothing here that warrants further action. We will keep an eye on the Tong, but for now they can continue their unsavory business. Good work, %PCRank. The few rumors that have made their way to Roa Dyr have been just the vaguest whisperings of collusion and conspiracy. Nothing concrete, certainly. That's why we've sent you, %PCRank. Diranya
The Syvvit Tong is a Velothi guild in Vhul which is infamous for swindling outlanders. Indoril Ilvi suspects that the Syvvit Tong may have secret ties to House Hlaalu due to their unusual penchant for fraud and mercantilism. Should these suspicions ring true, the Tong could represent a serious threat to our hegemony over the eastern Aanthirin. You should be able to find some leads by talking with the Vhul townsfolk. Uncover any evidence of Syvvit Tong-House Hlaalu collaboration and bring it to me. Diranya
They were all rounded up by Ilvi's men. It's a shame to lose so many loyal customers, but perhaps outlanders will be more willing to stop-in now that the Syvvit Tong isn't here to swindle them. Vavis Danvon
Well, as the publican of this establishment, I've heard plenty of rumors about the Syvvit Tong, but they're just that: rumors. For all the years I've worked here, not once have I witnessed anything shadier than some lies told here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary. Vavis Danvon
I'm not a Vhul native, but I guess you could call me an honorary member of the Tong. I buy stock for them from the markets of Almas Thirr and help them to sell items they've acquired from passing outlanders. Ralas Hardil
They're no more. The whole lot were dragged kicking and screaming back to Roa Dyr by a small army of Indoril soldiers. Good riddance, I say. Sodeen
It seems that they finally managed to provoke the wrath of Indoril Ilvi. The whole Tong was arrested and brought to Roa Dyr. I can't say I'm upset by the news. Their behavior was shameful. Temple Vhul
More than a few rumors regarding the Syvvit Tong have passed through this temple. They range from what you'd expect to hear about ones of their disposition, to ones that are quite outlandish. Why, just recently there was a rumor that a supposed Hlaalu agent was seen hanging around the Watchers Cornerclub, an establishment frequented by the Syvvit Tong. Though, as much I dislike the Syvvit Tong, I don't put any stock in such rumors. Temple Vhul
They're history, it seems. A dozen or so of Ilvi's men stormed the town and dragged them all off. I suppose it was only a matter of time before their unsavory practices caught up with them. Vhul
You haven't heard? Ilvi had enough of them. I don't think his men left a single one behind. I suppose that means more business for me. Ginur Dolvi
You want to know about the local tong? They run around after outlanders begging for their coin. I'm a peddler too, and I won't turn down a good deal with an outlander, but I won't seek it out like they do. My customers are mostly locals, the way I like it. Ginur Dolvi
Indoril are not used to commoners having wealth, and don't know how to deal with it. This is why Ilvi and the Temple can't stand the Tong, but they couldn't find any dirt on the traders so far. And I don't believe they will. Many of the Tong are well-respected in Vhul, and while their practices are not entirely honorable, they are doing nothing illegal. Anise Drinith Disposition ≥ 30
Vhul often sees travelers pass through the village from the large towns nearby. These visitors -- outlanders for the most part -- travel with a heavy purse, and some local tradesmer banded together to capitalize on them. This is how the Tong formed. After a few years of buying low and selling high, they are starting to do so well even the Indoril have become concerned. Anise Drinith Disposition ≥ 30
The swindling Dark Elves of this miserable village. I've got nothing good to say about them. Honns Disposition ≥ 30
It's the local guild of swindlers seeking to rob unfortunate outlanders blind. There's nothing wrong with being resourceful, and many in Vhul view the Tong members with respect. But such organizations always rubbed me the wrong way. I suspect that their goals are more political than most people realize. Sodeen Disposition ≥ 30
The Tong brings peace to the tradesmer of the town and prosperity to all living here. This Cornerclub is our hangout, where we discuss our plans and practices. We're respected merchants, offering our wares to travelers who come and go in great numbers every day, but we seem to be a problem in the eyes of the Temple. They think we defy the gods, but I see nothing wrong with having a bit of coin to my name. Velryn Dreth Disposition ≥ 30
Don't bother with these swindlers. The Syvvit Tong may have most of the merchants in Vhul, but no one living in these parts barters with them. Guess who the locals come to when they need something? That's right: the Moss Market. Ilvor Telnis Disposition ≥ 30
They seem friendly enough -- not like the backward villagers elsewhere, or the stiff-necked Indoril. They even sold me a jar of traditional Telvanni paint. Costly, perhaps, but not something you come across every day. Well worth the price. Reby Ploussard Disposition ≥ 30
We mean no disrespect to our saints and lords. We're just resourceful. With more and more of you foreigners visiting the local area, why not make the most of it? We may not be overly fond of you westerners, but your crafts and gold are as good as any. Syvvit Tong Disposition ≥ 30
Some call us swindlers, but I believe the bad reputation is unearned. We are honorable tradesmer, and an organization like the Tong serves everyone's interests. If trade is flourishing and the merchants are safe, the village prospers. Syvvit Tong Disposition ≥ 30
So many detest us, yet we only want to live a life worth living. What's wrong with trading with outsiders? It only brings coin to the village, surely it's nothing to be afraid of. Syvvit Tong Disposition ≥ 30
I haven't heard anything particularly scandalous about the Syvvit Tong, although I know that outlanders don't like them and the Temple doesn't approve of their way of doing business. Dark Elf Disposition ≥ 30 Vhul
You want to know about the local Tong? They lap up foreign coin from every shabby outlander who wanders into the village. Not something their ancestors would be proud of, but they're not a bad lot. Dark Elf Disposition ≥ 30 Vhul
You're looking for dirt on those swindlers? I would talk to Sodeen at his stall outside the Baker's Hall. He has a theory about the Syvvit Tong. Disposition ≥ 30 Vhul
Nothing but greedy swindlers. Looking to trade? You'd do better to try the Moss Market. That's where locals and travelers alike are meant to offer their goods. It's run by House Indoril itself. Disposition ≥ 30 Vhul
