It was donated to the treasury by King Helseth's men. Can you have it from the vaults? Not without a favor. A very special favor. There's a priest by the name of Theril Gilnyth in the Romithren Monastery in the east. Not his real name, but one he adapted after his unsuccessful blackmail attempt on Helseth. If you bring about his permanent end, then the King has an enemy killed, and I get to claim credit for getting it done all for the price of a measly sword.
