You killed it? I can hardly believe you took down a bulky brute like that, but the look on your face tells it all. Thanks to you, I can cart my produce down to Othmura again instead of settling only for Idathren's market.

The Folvyns told me about the brute. They're a couple who trade wares with the farms around the Coronati Basin, and they came scurrying back to my farm after a close encounter with the beast. After some time, they decided to go visit the Andranis up the hill, just a little northwest of here.

Thank you. You'll find the troll down in the mangroves by the river south, then west from here. It was last spotted guarding the bridge.

I understand. Let me know if you change your mind.

It... What? Well, that certainly makes things easier for us. Thank you, friend. We have little wealth to speak of, but please accept this humble offering as a token of our gratitude. We'll be on our way soon.

Yes, a bridge troll. Swamp troll. Lurker in the mangroves. Whatever you want to call it, it's blocking the bridge on the path to Othmura. Would you clear the path for us?

Good luck fighting it on your own. They're known to be very difficult to defeat. Perhaps Alynu knows how to deal with these creatures. She's over by the guar.

Thank you for taking care of that troll, %PCName. That can't have been easy. We have little wealth to speak of, but please accept this humble offering as a token of our gratitude. We'll be on our way soon.

You've done us a great service slaying that beast, %PCName. The road is safe again for traveling merchants like ourselves.

Can't you see I'm busy? I rarely leave the farm, but my husband might know more. He's probably inside, preparing dinner.

Why are you telling me about this? Go tell the Folvyns.

You did the right thing. I sleep easier at night knowing that creature is dead.

Growing up, they used to tell stories about these awful creatures disturbing the peace. The hero always defeated them with fire in the end.

Growing up, they used to tell stories about these awful creatures disturbing the peace. The hero always defeated them with fire in the end. Wait, you're actually considering fighting it? I don't know whether to call you brave or foolish. Good luck!

You took care of it? The Folvyns will be happy to hear that. You look positively starving. Here, have a plate. You've earned it.

Yes, you took care of the troll blocking the Folvyns' path. That was noble of you.

Yes, it's very inconvenient. There's little guard presence down in these parts, so I hope you'll help us out.

You took care of it, %PCName? Well done. You've done us a great service. We depend on the safety of the roads for our livelihood. Business hasn't been great, but please take this minor token of my gratitude.

We consider you our friend for dealing with that beast, %PCName. We'll be on our way soon.
