Yes, you'll have to make amends for that blunder, %PCRank.

Sera Darothril's breadth of knowledge will soon prove indispensable for us.

How disappointing, %PCRank. Don't expect any reward for such a botched job. But I'll figure it out somehow. Well, let's move on to other chores.

Hurry up, %PCRank. Our adversaries won't wait for us to deliver the first strike.

Splendid! Oh, I wish I could see Indoril Ilvi's face once he finds out. What in the world is that poor s'wit going to do without his pet undead wizard? Well, tough luck -- Raldis Darothril's knowledge will soon be mine, and I don't feel like sharing. Good job, %PCRank. Take this as a reward. Let's move on to other chores now.

Do you have Raldis Darothril's soul for me?

Specifically, the soul of Raldis Darothril. A long-dead Indoril wizard whose spirit haunts the tower of Sittali. Despite his hostile attitude toward everybody but Indoril nobles, I'm confident that I can extract some helpful information from him. Remember to carry a large enough soul gem with you, %PCRank.

What was that noise upstairs? Tynachos had better not be out sending you to fetch more souls. He should spend his time enchanting items to cover the guild's expenses, not fussing around with his soul collection.

You've been expelled. You can't do any work for me until you've made amends.

Yes, yes. You've shown that you have the bare minimum of skill required to work for me.

Are you trying to destroy my quarters? I said cast Soul Trap, not start a brawl! Well, you can capture a soul. But can you appreciate it? Look at the souls I've collected. To the untrained eye they look identical, but to someone with aesthetic sensibility the differences couldn't be more stark! Look deeply. Get a sense of their auras. What do they make you feel? You need to cultivate an appreciation of the tannins of the soul. Take these so you can assist me with my research. I have duties for you.

Acceptable. You've shown you can capture a soul.

Alright, get on with it. And here's a spare soul gem to make the demonstration more realistic.

Alright, get on with it.

Well, hurry back. My time is precious.

You've killed the scamp, but you didn't even cast Soul Trap? Do I look like I have all day to help you practice? Get it right this time. Ready?

I'll summon a scamp when you're ready. Cast Soul Trap on it.
