Thank you, %PCName.

I have given the matter thought, and I must thank you, %PCName. You have saved me from losing my life and honor. Take this as thanks. A shield I earned in battle, many years ago. It is yours now.

I have withdrawn my challenge.

Hmm. This is true. You possess prowess which exceeds mine greatly. And if I fail, then Thromil may seem vindicated. I withdraw my challenge.

Hmm. This is true. You are but a puny stripling. I could crush you with my bare hands... perhaps, then, I might not wish to fight you. Killing you would bring me no honor. I withdraw my challenge.

Yes, I see the truth of your words. Whichever one of us dies, Thromil will still sit comfortable in his tower. I withdraw my challenge.

You show some bravery. A shame that you go in that half-breed brute's place. Die.

Not so. I shall overcome your strength, and prove that the Dustmoth legion has no honor or prowess even in its greatest champion.

You are not so weak. Our fight shall be fair and even, and when I win, I shall prove the weakness and depravity of your garrison.

To accomplish something is not my purpose. I demand satisfaction. Thromil must pay a price for his dishonor. If that price is his finest champion, then so be it.

Ha! Never. On behalf of the Order, I demand satisfaction. Thromil has no honor, his men have no honor. All they are is what remained after every good man in their garrison died with the late Duchess. Thugs, drunkards, layabouts, cowards. And if you would stand with them, then I would gladly end you.

You're Thromil's champion? Of course the coward won't face me himself. Tell me when you are prepared to die.

Good work getting Grala to stand down. She didn't deserve to die.

Good work getting Grala to stand down. She didn't deserve to die. Why don't you go talk to her? Now that she's had time to think, I'm sure she's grateful.

Good work getting Grala to stand down. She didn't deserve to die. After you've reported to Thromil, and she's had time to think, you should go talk to her. I'm sure she'll be grateful.

It's a shame what happened, but I suppose it was her own fault in the end.

That's rather delicate. Grala is certainly being rash, but I'd hate to see her die. I think you should see if you can't get her to stand down and retract the challenge. If you do that, you won't have to kill her.

You've been dismissed from the Imperial Legion for behavior unbecoming a Legionnaire, but maybe you can join the Imperial Legion again.

The Knights say I'm honorless, and they think my men are thugs. They can think that all they want. I'm still on top.

She's dead? Good. Those Knights can be so bothersome. Since you've been so very useful in the past, why don't you take this? A Halberd I used well in my youth. An enterprising upstart like yourself should have great use for it. I have more orders for you, when you are prepared.

She's dead? Good. Those Knights can be so very bothersome. Here's your payment. I have more orders for you, when you are prepared.

You got her to stand down? Intriguing. You're quite the resourceful type, I see. Here's your payment. Speak to me when you are prepared for further orders.

Go on. She won't wait forever.

A Knight of the Order of Firewatch, Grala gra-Gurakh, has challenged me to a duel over some frivolous nonsense. I have no time for the Order's childishness. Go to her in the High Halls of the Ember Keep, upstairs near the entrance to the Duchess' quarters, and duel her in my place. Succeed, and you shall be entitled to her weapons and armor. Fail and die.
