You're expelled, %PCName. Make amends and then we can talk about your work.

Now maybe these merchants will think twice before taking the roads with only a bodyguard or two for company.

Excellent work. You can keep whatever else you took.

I don't want you to just bring me 1500 gold from wherever. I want you to go find a merchant on the road, and take it from him. So next time, he thinks twice about avoiding our hosts' famous hospitality. And maybe he tells his merchant friends to think twice, too. %PCRank, you ever heard of the phrase "kill two cliffracers with one fireball"?

Then go fetch it.

Do you have my 1500 gold?

I don't need to tell you that this town is a shadow of its former glory. There are a lot of reasons for that, but the road between Hlerynhul and Othmura is one of them. Foot traffic used to pass through Ald Iuval, and river traffic too, but with more merchants using that road instead of dealing with the Redoran, now they don't have the money to keep the buildings from falling down. So, you're going to find a merchant on the road and take his money. Make him fear the road. I expect you to bring me 1500 gold.
