On the coasts of the Inner Sea, smugglers are a very common sight. They're a little less common on the eastern coast, I believe, but remote places like Moburan were bound to attract criminal elements eventually.

Their leader pretends to be like a knight in his manor. But up close, he's nothing more than a brigand with a suit of armor and inflated ambitions.

All dead? Hah! Serves them right. Good job, outlander.

Thugs, the lot of them. One even drew a blade on me, once! All I'd done was ask him not to scare away the damn fish.

Violence is always an unfortunate thing, but I suppose it was only a matter of time before blood was shed in Windbreaker keep. I'm glad it wasn't Manibia's. Or mine, for that matter.

Ever since they got here they've been mostly peaceful towards us, if not particlarly kind. The other day, though, I overheard two of them in the courtyard, talking about the fortress like they owned it. What if it becomes more than talk? Its a worrisome thought.

I can't say I'm upset about their deaths. I don't ordinarily disdain outlanders, but those lot behaved, well... just like outlanders.

New arrivals here on the island. Sure, they'll occasionally trade with us for things we can't get anywhere else. But I'm worried that they'll tire of us before long. And given what we've seen, I don't think they'll let us go peacefully.

It is a shame that blood had to be shed. But when you are a man like Derroltan, you make promises of blood with every word.

I heard them talking, the other day. I was cleaning fish, and two of them were far out on the end of the dock. It was Derroltan and his bodyguard.
