You've been expelled from %Faction. I cannot speak of this with you unless you make amends. Felmaru Llendu
The same goes for you, %PCRank. Thank you for humoring this old bat. Take this. I believe you'll put it to better use than I will. Felmaru Llendu
I might not see eye-to-eye with Delis on everything. That's fine. If House Redoran hopes to have any chance to weather the storm, it needs to change. To find its place in a world where House Hlaalu and the Empire reign supreme. But at the same time, we can't forget what we stand for. And I trust Delis to do just that. She's daring, young, and reckless, and she makes moves that I never would. But at the end of the day, she's a Redoran through and through, and she'll bring honor to her house. Felmaru Llendu
I shouldn't have tried to run away to save my sorry hide. I was supposed to hold my ground and defend the village. Maybe I would have failed anyhow -- who's to say? But even if I had, I would've died proud, knowing I kept my honor. Not having to live with my shame. Felmaru Llendu
You didn't need to know. But that wasn't the point. The point of the story was that my cowardice cost myself, and others, dearly that day.
Well... you can probably imagine what followed. To be honest, I consider myself fortunate to have lost only one eye. The sole reason I'm still alive is that Bolnor Selvilo managed to escape, sneak back into the enemy camp, and untie the rest of us. Turns out that the enemy unit was much weaker than we were told. They just had the element of surprise on their side. After Selvilo freed us, we managed to overpower them with ease. But it was too late for the village. They'd already burnt it to the ground. It was during the Arnesian War. The Argonians were laying siege to a village in the deep south. I was the commander of the Horns that were trying to defend it. We got reports that a large enemy force was on its way. The situation seemed hopeless, so I decided to cut our losses and run. It was a trap. The lizards had been waiting for us on the way out. Many of my men died. Many, like myself, were captured and brought to their camp. Felmaru Llendu
