I'm sure the Company thinks it's been very intimidating by sending in a mercenary to kill us, and maybe it has. But when other miners find out about this, and they will, the Hlaalu are going to look like a better and better option for work. In other words, I doubt that your employer will be very pleased to hear of this, %PCRace. Linia Trellus
It's over now. I don't think any of the miners here are too eager to work for the Hlaalu after they heard about those riots. Linia Trellus
It's over now. You've convinced me to stay with the Company, and I think I've talked around most of the miners too. Linia Trellus
Really? In that case, I'm surprised to say it, but thank you. The Hlaalu almost tricked us into being just some more expendable labor. So yes, I'll call all the miners off, and I'll make sure to let them know what the Hlaalu do to their workers. Linia Trellus Disposition ≥ 60
Hmm... No. No, I can't trust that you're telling the truth. You've come to put this rebellion down. Of course you'd say something like that -- to throw me off. Linia Trellus
I suppose I have heard some bad things about the way the Hlaalu treat their workers. And I'm not sure I would have trusted them to deliver on all that payment anyway. Fine. I'll keep working for the Company, and I can convince the other miners to do the same. Linia Trellus Disposition ≥ 80
As you'd know well, I'm sure. But don't worry, the Hlaalu have made us a much more generous offer than your Company ever will. Linia Trellus
I doubt that other mines are so much more unsafe than this one. Besides, the Hlaalu have made us a much more generous offer than the Company ever will. Linia Trellus
Well? Say whatever you're going to say. The sooner you do, the sooner we get this over with. Linia Trellus
Well? Say whatever you're going to say. The sooner you do, the sooner we get this over with. Linia Trellus
You were contracted to get the miners back to work, and they can't work if they're dead. Still, I suppose the ones that aren't won't be so rebellious now. Guard Num-Ittu Mine
You're here to get these miners back to work, yes? Go talk to Linia Trellus, then. She's the leader. Guard Num-Ittu Mine
Yes, fine, I understand, I'll get back to work. Just please don't kill anyone else. Miner Num-Ittu Mine
If you're here to put down our little miners' rebellion, mercenary, then don't bother. We won't be working for the East Empire Company anymore unless they start paying us much better. If you're willing to bargain with us, though, then talk to Linia. She's at the bottom of the mine. Miner Disposition ≥ 30 Num-Ittu Mine
I told you about the riots. I think that's a good enough reason for those miners not to work for the Hlaalu. Golvyn Ieneth
But rioting miners isn't good for business, and the Hlaalu are all about business. They ordered the Canyon Watch to put down the riots, and... well. The fighting was awfully one-sided. I was lucky enough to be out of town at the time, but things were shaken when I returned, and there were enough dead that you can still see the scars today. To put a long story short, though, I think that's a very good reason these miners of yours shouldn't work for the Hlaalu. No one wants to fight the Canyon Watch again. Golvyn Ieneth
It's an interesting situation you've got there. And I think I may have some advice for you if you're trying to convince the miners to back off. Do you know about the miners' riots that happened when Vvardenfell was opened? Plenty of people were heading off to strike claims in the new mines, so the owners of the ones still operating here thought they could get away with lowering wages and buying slaves instead of hiring workers. The miners were furious, of course, and took to the streets. Golvyn Ieneth Disposition ≥ 30
%Name thinks you might ask Golvyn Ieneth about this. He was talking recently about miners' riots that got put down some time ago, and he tends to know what he's doing. It might be worthwhile to ask for his advice on this. Fighters Guild Disposition ≥ 30 Narsis, Fighting Chance
Well, if I were you, I'd just go there and knock some sense into those miners. But I think Golvyn Ieneth here was talking recently about miners' riots that got put down a while back. He's been with the Guild for some time, and tends to know what he's doing. It might be worthwhile to ask for his advice on this. Fighters Guild Disposition ≥ 30 Narsis, Fighting Chance
You've been expelled from the Fighters Guild for breaking the rules. You'll have to make amends before I can discuss orders with you. Teris Vandenius
You killed one of the miners? Well, I might have approached the situation a little differently, but I suppose you did put down the rebellion. Take this gold, and speak to me again when you're ready for more orders. Teris Vandenius
You convinced the miners to back off? That's impressive, %PCRank. I wouldn't have expected them to give in so quickly. Take this gold, and a few of these gems too -- with the Company's thanks. Just speak to me again when you're ready for more orders. Teris Vandenius
You convinced the miners to back off? Quite the talker, are you, %PCRank? Take this gold, and a few of these gems too -- with the Company's thanks. Just speak to me again when you're ready for more orders. Teris Vandenius
You fought the miners' leader and they backed off? Good work, %PCRank. Take this gold, and a few of these gems too -- with the Company's thanks. Just speak to me again when you're ready for more orders. Teris Vandenius
You've been ordered to deal with those miners. Intimidate them if you like, or convince them to back off, just get them back to work. Teris Vandenius
Num-Ittu Mine is a sapphire mine far out near Stormgate Pass that's owned by the East Empire Company. The miners there have recently demanded an enormous pay increase, and threatened to defect to the Hlaalu if it's not given to them. You need to go there and intimidate them into backing off. If you can convince them to stand down, all the better, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The mine itself is east of the pass, just south of the road to Narsis and set into a crevice between the mesas on the border. Teris Vandenius
