I have no miners to sell today.

Good. I will give orders to have Llaals taken from the slave pit. Go on inside. He's your problem now.

There are no other miners to recruit here in Tel Aruhn. I will see you again.

I do not know about any free miners here, but I have a slave, Llaals Oren, who says he used to be a miner. He is rebellious and lazy. I will sell him to you for 200 drakes. A bargain.

You want me to work in an egg mine? That's the best thing I've heard in months. I know where Shurdan-Raplay is. I'll meet you there. You didn't waste your money, and I'll prove it to you.

Yes, I was once a miner, but now I am slave.

We should be able to handle a mine this size.

I have found work here in Gnisis.

I will be at the mine as soon as my men are ready.

I heard that the Shurdan-Raplay Mine was going to open again, despite the bandits and the blight. I will serve you and your House faithfully. I will be at the mine with my crew in a few days.

You are? Wait... I heard that mine was blighted. You won't find any miners willing to work in a blighted mine.

I know. Work is hard to find these days.

Yes, I am an egg miner, and I'm looking for work. Why do you ask?

You've recruited some miners and the Shurdan-Raplay Egg Mine should give you some steady income.

In House Hlaalu, we always have a shortage of egg miners. But this gives us the opportunity to recruit miners from the other Houses. There are usually some unemployed miners in Gnisis and Tel Aruhn. Go to either of these cities and ask around.

I heard Ilasour Tansumiran was looking for work. He lives on the north side of Gnisis between the Temple and the mines.

I do not know of any egg miners around here. Perhaps the slave trader, Savile Imayn, has one for sale.

You convinced Manari Gildaren to start work in the mine? Good job, %PCName. Hopefully her brother Brelar will accept it. Here, take this trinket as a reward for all your service. However, due to the untimely demise of Azariah Thelas, we can continue no further.

You convinced Manari Gildaren to start work in the mine? Good job, %PCName. Hopefully her brother Brelar will accept it. Here, take this trinket as a reward for all your service. But now, your next task arises. This time, with no bureaucracy involved, I need you to acquire some slaves.

Any luck finding miners, %PCName?

An unconventional method, I know, but the situation calls for it. Just one more will do, actually. Ask around the town, see if there's anyone who's available for work.

Actually, %PCName, I believe you still have one outstanding task with Azariah Thelas? To collect some pickaxes? You had best finish that before we begin this next phase.

Okay, you've convinced me. I'll start work in the mine today.

A job in the mine. Well, I'd like to, but... it might be a bit tough. I don't think I'm that up for it, to be honest.

Well, Brelar's tried to keep our sister Manari out of work, to 'keep the freshness of her youth'... but I think you should talk to her about it.

Well, I've tried to keep my sister Manari out of work, to keep the freshness of her youth, but if Mithras wants miners... I suppose you could talk to her about it.

Hmmm. Well, Manari Gildaren's been out of work for ages. Perhaps she'd be willing to lend a hand.
