Over my dead body, you n'wah thief! Now hold still -- I have plans for you!

Yes. Thank you for retrieving them. My teachers were quite impressed.

Too bad. That research would have been valuable to the Guild.

As you wish, but I assure you no one but the Mages Guild would have any good use for those notes.

Excellent. Here -- take these scrolls as your reward. Pleasure doing business.

Ah, so you were able to retrieve the notes. Could I ask you to hand them over, %PCRank?

Ah, so you were able to retrieve the notes. Could I ask you to hand them over, please?

If you are able to find them, please bring them to me. I assure you, no one else will have any use for those notes.

You don't need to remind me that my research is lost to me. Get out of my sight.

Thank you again, %PCClass.

Well, hurry and find them then. They must be squirreled away somewhere in Sarahu.

Brilliant! Incredible! Look at this -- it seems that with the proper focus, it's possible... What are you still doing here? Ah, your reward! Yes, here, take these gloves Alvon left behind. I'm sure they will be more than sufficient. Now please leave me -- I must focus on these notes.

You gave my research notes to the Mages Guild? Why? Those imbeciles have no clue! I hope you don't expect a reward from me.

Were you able to recover them?

Fine. Let me know if you change your mind.

Excellent, %PCClass. Alvon has recently taken up residence in Sarahu, an old Velothi tower to the east of Narsis. Be warned, Alvon is an extremely talented warlock, and I do not think he will give you the research notes willingly. Here, these shock resistance potions may give you an edge. Good luck.

Have you changed your mind about helping to recover my research notes?

Alvon Releth. Have you heard the name? Well, he used to be my partner, and while I'm loath to admit it, between the two of us, he was always the more talented mage. Unfortunately, he's also a sadistic fetcher who made his discoveries by experimenting on skooma addicts and other unwilling participants. Uh, completely without my knowledge, rest assured. When the authorities finally got wind of his misdeeds and came to arrest him, he stole our research notes and fled. I need you to get them back, %PCClass.
