That's no longer an issue for us, thankfully. Imperial Archaeological Society Disposition ≥ 30 Kemel-Ze
With how little funding we receive, it's getting harder to maintain the dig sites, and now our most recent excavation in the Golden Mausoleum triggered some security protocols. Animunculi have flooded the lower chambers, and we haven't seen some of our colleagues since. We haven't had an incident like this in ages, and we were completely unprepared. Imperial Archaeological Society Disposition ≥ 30 Kemel-Ze
The power is back on -- and more importantly, the security system has been switched off again. We should be able to continue excavating soon enough. Thank you, %PCName. Oramas Merthu
What? I told him exactly where it was, and it's hardly a maze down there. When you enter the Service Tunnels, just head straight then left down some stairs. You'll see a big dwemer machine on your immediate right. The button is on the far end of that machine. Do watch out for the animunculi, though. We've already lost a few men to them. Oramas Merthu
So you're the one the Fighters Guild sent. Excellent timing. Durus is downstairs in the Golden Mausoleum. Go through the doors behind me and head down to the Noble's Walk, then keep going straight all the way. At the end of a long tunnel you should see the entrance to the mausoleum. Oramas Merthu
With any luck, the archaeologists will avoid accidentally turning it back on again for the foreseeable future. Durus
Sounds like you found the button alright. Thanks, %PCName. I'll send word to Sharnoga. She should have your pay ready once you get back to Old Ebonheart. Durus
I'd head down there myself, but Rusca and I are the last line of defense if any of those animunculi make their way up here. Talk to Oramas Merthu in the Aster if you're having trouble finding the button. Durus
Cierraise is pretty annoyed. With the security system up and power down, the archaeologists have had to stop work entirely. Oramas Merthu upstairs said he saw a Dwemer button in the Service Tunnels that should shut it off. I, uh, don't know exactly where -- he said something about a machine and a shelf schematic -- but it shouldn't be too hard to find. The Service Tunnels are up ahead on the left, beyond the big statue. Talk to Oramas Merthu in the Aster if you're having trouble finding the button. Durus
The archaeologists tried to tunnel their way around a collapsed passage, but that cut the power and set off some kind of emergency security system. Now the whole place has gone haywire. Those Dwarven machines will tear you apart in a second, and we have barely enough men as it is. You should get to the Imperial Archaeological Society base camp on the eastern side of the Aster. Once you're there, talk to Oramas Merthu for directions to the Golden Mausoleum. Durus is waiting for you there. Fighters Guild Disposition ≥ 30 Kemel-Ze
When a passage collapsed, as often happens, the archaeologists tried to tunnel their way around through the mausoleum, but that cut the power and set off some kind of emergency security system. Now the whole place has gone haywire. Those Dwarven machines will tear you apart in a second, and we only have enough men for a small guard detail. All we can do now is turn away the odd angry tourist and wait until the heavens see fit to fix it for us. Fighters Guild Disposition ≥ 30 Kemel-Ze
You've been expelled from the Fighters Guild. I can't talk about this unless you make amends. Sharnoga gra-Mal
They needed you to come down and press a rusty old button? Huh. Well, it's the Society's coin purse, I guess. Good work out there. Here's your share of the contract money. Sharnoga gra-Mal

That's what I heard from Durus, the head of our men at Kemel-Ze. A routine excavation somehow turned the ancient Dwemer security system back on and woke up a bunch of those automatons. We only have a handful of men on site, so Durus is calling for backup. I don't know much more than that. Report to Durus at the ruins. I'm sure he'll fill you in. Sharnoga gra-Mal
