What else do you require of me?

That changes things. If she's deliberately selling spoiled goods to unwary Bal Foyen citizens, she'll need to be stopped. I'll send a guard to inspect her shop. Thank you for your report, citizen.

Espionage and an attempt to form a monopoly: that won't play well with the higher-ups at the Council Manor. I'll make sure Nevusa Falen receives just punishment. Thank you for the report, citizen. You've earned this gold.

That matter? Hemmette Fauler destroyed the spoiled potions once she was made aware of the issue. I don't believe she sold any more after that. Do you have other information?

Very well.

So what? We both heard exactly what she asked, and you agreed to it, didn't you? That Breton deserves whatever comes to her, so why don't you go do as you're told.

I've already told you: I didn't see Nevusa do anything wrong. Stop bothering me with this.

Nevusa told you the story, didn't she? I don't have anything else to add.

This sounds like a local matter. Report it to the Hlaalu guards, not to me.

Move along, then.

I knew she'd slip up sooner or later. We'll send someone around to take her into custody. Thank you for your report, citizen.

I can't arrest her on your word alone, %PCRank. If you're serious, report it to Tilara Danar in the guard tower on the south side of the eastern gate.

And you want me to do what? Investigate? Ask Nevusa if it's true? It'll be your word against hers, and I know who I'd believe, outlander. If you're serious, report it to Tilara Danar in the guard tower on the south side of the eastern gate.

That Breton alchemist has protested her innocence all along. We're keeping a close eye on her in case she tries to pull another trick, but so far she's been clean. Maybe it's as she claims, and the whole story was blown out of proportion by Nevusa Falen. Or maybe Nevusa knows something: she is an experienced alchemist, after all. Either way, those two have been feuding since the Breton set foot in Bal Foyen, and there's no sign of them stopping.

Just don't bring it up again, please.

You've killed her? Oh, no no no! I didn't want that, not at all! She was an awful witch, but she didn't deserve to die or anything like that.

That conniving Dark Elf witch! And you, helping her! I see where this is going. Can't stand a bit of competition? Well, there's two who can play at that game. And now that you've spoiled her little plot, do you want to help me give Nevusa Falen what she deserves?

You did what you could do bring Nevusa Falen to justice, and I thank you for that.

Oh, please! Don't dig it up again. It's ancient history.

That old incident? It was a storm in a teacup, I'm telling you. The potions weren't rightly stored on the journey here from Camlorn, and that's why they spoiled. I was never going to sell them to anybody. I told that to the guards, but they didn't listen, on account of me being an outlander. And that's the whole story, put to bed long ago.

You killed Hemmette? It's unorthodox. Certainly not what I asked you to do. And there's a risk of sentiment in the town turning against me should my role in hiring you come to light. Neither of us want that, do we? So, I'll tell you what. Let's remain friends. And as a token of my friendship, I'll reduce the prices at my store, just for you.

You were seen? You imbecile! It should gave gone without saying that remaining undetected was crucial to our plan. Clearly you lack not only the sense to remain hidden, but common sense as well! Now get out of my sight!

Justice is too difficult for you, is it? Don't you know that the easy thing isn't always the right thing? It's no matter: your sniveling proves you don't have the stomach for this job. I'll find someone else. Now get out of my sight.

Good. Then get going, Time is money, don't you know?

You have? I've heard nothing of the sort. Make sure you report her spoiled merchandise to the guard.

Oh, excellent! That fraud will get what's coming to her now! As for the reward I promised you, this amulet is enchanted to assist in the alchemical arts. It has been of great use to me, but now that I'm truly unrivaled in Bal Foyen, I don't need it any more. What's more, I'll give you a discount in my shop. Come back to me any time you need potions or ingredients.

Have you planted the potion yet?

I'd never sell such a thing! The other alchemist in Bal Foyen, on the other hand...
