Bad Taste of Adventure

Fari Niernis, a merchant in Darvonis, wants me to rid the town of Hyrmiel Farragian, a recently arrived Imperial posing as a Legion knight. By killing predators to make the roads safer, Farragian is slaughtering the wildlife. The business of the local hunters and traders suffers as a result. Niernis is convinced Farragian is a fake Legion knight, but that the Imperial Legion command doesn't care. She suggests I take him on a dangerous quest to Maesabun, a nearby cave, to scare him off.

I refused to help Hyrmiel Farragian clear out Maesabun, and now he doesn't want to go there on his own. He says I can talk to him again whenever I'm interested.

I convinced Hyrmiel Farragian to meet me at the entrance of Maesabun in order to rid the cave of the dangerous beasts it inhabits.

Hyrmiel Farragian seems to have gotten hurt while fighting inside Maesabun.

Hyrmiel Farragian seems frightened by the number of venomous parastyli attacking us.

As expected, the fake Legion knight Hyrmiel Farragian took fright during the exploration of Maesabun. He wants me to lead him out of the cave so he can return to his family in Colovia.

I have led Hyrmiel Farragian outside of Maesabun. He offered me his crossbow for helping him escape the cave. He will be leaving for Colovia shortly.

I reported Hyrmiel Farragian's case to Captain Maurrisha of the Imperial Legion in Old Ebonheart. He is indeed a fake Legion knight, and the captain will immediately take action to have him arrested.

Fari Niernis is thrilled that Hyrmiel Farragian is no longer around slaughtering the wildlife. She rewarded me for improving business in Darvonis without getting anyone hurt.

Hyrmiel Farragian is dead.

Fari Niernis was appalled to learn of the passing of Hyrmiel Farragian. To honor her promise, she paid me, but the brutal death of a visiting outlander might not help the town's business.
