Merxia Vendicci wants me to find a conjuration expert to help us turn the Silverspoon against Aetia Nemesia.

20

Merxia Vendicci suggests I start my search for conjuration experts with the Imperial Cult in the Grand Chapel of Talos, Hastophos Velifer the town necromancer, or the Mages Guild.

30

Quilmaro suggests that for a conjuration expert, I speak with Diranya, the Altmer chaplain of Roa Dyr. According to him, the Indoril are more experienced in dealing with Daedra than anyone I'll find in Old Ebonheart, and Diranya is among the most experienced of the Indoril.

35

For a conjuration expert, Lissaire mentioned Diranya, the Altmer chaplain of Roa Dyr.

40

At Roa Dyr, Diranya asked me how I intended to use the Silverspoon.

50

Diranya was satisfied with my answer. If I give her the Silverspoon and wait a day, she will have prepared a method to use the spoon against Aetia Nemesia, but she will not return the spoon itself to me.

55

Diranya was satisfied with my answer. If I give her the Silverspoon and wait a day, she will have prepared a method to use the spoon against Aetia Nemesia, but she will not return the spoon itself to me. Also, by House Indoril decree, she requires me to renounce Talos.

60

I agreed to Diranya's terms and gave her the Silverspoon.

70

Diranya at Roa Dyr should be done with the Silverspoon.

80

Diranya gave me a transcription of an Indoril interrogation of the Silverspoon. She suggests that if I hand this to Belisatha Mede, the Imperial magistrate in the Ebon Tower, as evidence of corruption, Imperial law will act against Aetia Nemesia.

90

Belisatha Mede accepted the Indoril affidavit as evidence of corruption and issued an arrest warrant for Aetia Nemesia. She told me to let Merxia Vendicci know so she could be present for Aetia's arrest.

95

Aetia Nemesia is dead.

100

I told Merxia Vendicci that Belisatha Mede thought it best if she supervised Aetia Nemesia's arrest. Merxia agreed and told me to meet her in Aetia's office.

Aetia Nemesia asked me to play a "harmless prank" on Merxia Vendicci. She wants me to sneak into Vendicci Manor's basement and put the Silverspoon inside a certain ornate chest. I'm not to steal anything or it won't work.

15

Jacchia Denter, one of Merxia Vendicci's servants, knows how to get into the basement. She says she'd tell me if she liked me more.

17

Jacchia Denter told me Merxia keeps a key to the basement on her fireplace.

20

I placed the Silverspoon in the ornate chest. It scooped up the valuable gems inside and vanished.

30

I gave Felmo Ilveroth the Silverspoon, and he banished it from the mortal plane. Neither Aetia nor Merxia will be very happy with this turn of events.

40

Aetia Nemesia rewarded me for the "harmless prank" and told me we wouldn't have to worry about Merxia Vendicci any longer.

50

Aetia Nemesia has been arrested. Merxia Vendicci rewarded me for unearthing evidence of corruption against Aetia Nemesia.

51

Aetia Nemesia has been arrested. Merxia Vendicci rewarded me well for unearthing evidence of corruption against Aetia Nemesia and putting some of her accomplices in Imperial custody.

52

Aetia Nemesia has been arrested. Merxia Vendicci rewarded me handsomely for unearthing evidence of corruption against Aetia Nemesia and putting her accomplices in Imperial custody.

55

Aetia Nemesia has been killed. Merxia Vendicci rewarded me for unearthing evidence of corruption against Aetia Nemesia, but regretted her death. Her accomplices have been put into Imperial custody.

Maniel Sylbenitte, a conjuration expert at the Mages Guild, will provide his insight into the Silverspoon if I get the East Empire Company to forgive his 11000-drake glassworking debt.

20

Aetia Nemesia told me to tell Quilmaro to forgive Maniel Sylbenitte's glassworking loan.

30

Quilmaro has forgiven Maniel Sylbenitte's glassworking loan.

40

I informed Maniel Sylbenitte that I got his glassworking loan forgiven. He is now willing to share his knowledge of the Silverspoon.

45

I paid Maniel Sylbenitte the 11000 drakes for his glassworking loan. He is now willing to share his knowledge of the Silverspoon.

50

According to Maniel Sylbenitte, the Silverspoon is a minor artifact belonging to Clavicus Vile. Its bearer may talk it into scooping up the riches around it and taking them back to its master, cursing the victim with bad luck thereafter. In keeping with its master's sphere of oath-breaking, it is more easily convinced when the intended target is the bearer's master, employer, or patron: someone to whom he or she has sworn an oath.

60

For 500 drakes, Maniel Sylbenitte has offered to cast a spell on the Silverspoon to give me a random selection of the things it has stolen for its master.

70

The Silverspoon yielded a lump of coal. Maniel lamented my poor luck.

75

The Silverspoon yielded 2000 gold pieces and an emerald. Maniel said he admired my luck.

Felmo Ilveroth says the Silverspoon is the make of a Daedra. For 50 gold pieces, he can give me a blessing of Talos to improve my odds in dealing with it, but he prefers that I give him the spoon so he can banish it from the mortal plane.

20

I accepted Felmo Ilveroth's blessing.
