Lora Avis has noticed an uptick in the number of Imperial tourists arriving in Firewatch from down south, often bringing with them Dwemer trinkets. She suspects the tourists have been getting them in Marog, and asked me to travel there to investigate the unauthorized sale of Dwemer goods. If possible, she would like me to put a stop to it. Otherwise, she wants me to let her know who's selling them.
No One Above the Law
According to the locals in Marog, a woman by the name of Tonisi Rethri is likely to be the source of the Dwemer trinkets. I can find Tonisi's souvenir stand overlooking the docks.
Tonisi Rethri openly admitted to selling Dwemer trinkets from Kemel-Ze to tourists who have come to town to see the ruins.
Tonisi Rethri laughed in my face when I invoked the East Empire Company's authority. She says the only person whose orders she'll obey is Hetman Urys, who oversees the township of Marog.
I spoke to Hetman Urys about Tonisi Rethri's illegal dealings, but she declined to do anything about it. Instead, she offered me 500 drakes to leave the matter alone.
I took Hetman Urys' bribe.
Lora Avis was disappointed to hear that my investigations in the town of Marog yielded no results.
Lora Avis was pleased that I was able to provide her with the name of the person responsible for selling Dwemer trinkets to Imperial tourists, and rewarded me with 300 drakes.
Lora Avis was furious that I killed Tonisi Rethri, and refused to reward me for ending the illegal trade of Dwemer trinkets in Marog.
Lora Avis realized that the East Empire Company had already sent someone to investigate the illegal trade of Dwemer trinkets in Marog. She no longer needs me for the job.
