Breaking Some Eggs

Permil Danconis told me that a local merchant, Merdon Dillmoon, has been cheated by his business partners and needs the Guild to resolve the situation. I am to go to him and learn what happened.

However, they refuse to deliver, despite having already been paid. I am to go to them and get Merdon's money, or persuade them to honor their original agreement. They are likely at the Firewatch docks.
