Vizier Ereven Peronys is planning a hostile takeover of the Narsis East Empire Company. First, I must obtain the earnings report from the recently arrived courier. Next, I should take the report to the Chief Clerk Nalis Doronil in his manor to have its contents "altered". Afterwards, I should bring the report back to the Vizier before the next step begins.

I offered the courier Lalandel greydust, which she took and immediately overdosed on.

I gave Lalandel a bottle of goya, and she was more than eager to hand over the report afterwards.

I used my status as Factor of the East Empire Company to convince Lalandel to give me the report.

Nalis Doronil delegated the alteration to his subordinate Ralden Goran in the Chief Clerk's Office in the Measurehall. If I bring this note along with the scrip, he will do the job.

Ereven Peronys asked me to bring the altered report to the Mesa Exchange and give it to the broker there to announce. Once the news has spread and the stock value has plummeted, I must find someone willing to sell their entire portfolio, purchase it, and bring it back to the Vizier.

I gave the altered report to Thona Zayria in the Mesa Exchange, who promptly read out the news of the EEC's disappointing results. The stock price fell sharply and traders began to panic.

I gave Harald's EEC portfolio to Vizier Ereven Peronys. House Hlaalu now controls a minority share of the East Empire Company.

With a trader dead and me to blame, Ereven says I can't be trusted with the grandmaster position.
