The Missing Merchant

Dreynos Helvi asked me to investigate the disappearance of an outlander Dunmer merchant named Gavros Falas. I should start by checking out his house, which is located near the Bal Foyen docks. If he's not home, Helvi says I should ask around Bal Foyen.

Gavros Falas was nowhere to be found in his home, but I found a threatening letter in his desk.

I met Gavros Falas's nephew, Honon Falas, in the Dancing Cup tavern. Honon believes that Gavros has been murdered. He gave me a copy of his uncle's last correspondence with him. He also mentioned a place called Molkobal, and someone named Darane Navur.

I read a letter to Honon written by Gavros. It mentions a merchant in Almas Thirr called Darane Navur who he planned to meet in a cave called Molkobal.

Darane Navur, an Indoril merchant, admitted she had brokered a trade partnership with Gavros Falas. She said she cut ties with him after Gavros began smuggling ash statues. She thinks that Gavros' death was just, but claims that she didn't kill him.

I've found Gavros Falas' corpse. He was carrying a journal describing the final period of his life. If I have enough evidence, I should return to Dreynos Helvi and tell him who I believe murdered Gavros Falas.

I told Dreynos Helvi that Darane was responsible for Gavros Falas' murder. Dreynos Helvi said this is just another regretful symptom of the brewing conflict along the Thirr River.

I met a former Sleeper, Sathes Barnalo, in an alley of Bal Foyen. He seems to believe the Sixth House killed Gavros Falas, and gave me directions to the site of his corpse. He can be found in a cave on an island a short distance east of Bal Foyen.

I found an ash statue during my investigation. Perhaps this holds some clues to Gavros' disappearance.
