Maria sent me on the important task of converting a Redoran deserter to the Imperial Cult to save him from execution. The deserter Trelam Sethri was imprisoned at the Tiger Hall jail. Maria requested I ask the Legion Commander Antonius Rato about this arrangement first.
Antonius Rato said he is open to the idea, but he needs me to get the deserter to make an earnest change of faith to convince him it's more than just a ploy to avoid jail.
Trelam Sethri refused to convert to the Nine Divines.
Maria suggested that I bring a book called "Reflections on Cult Worship" to Trelam Sethri. She said that Birahn at the chapel has one for sale.
I convinced the deserter to abandon the Tribunal and instead believe in the Imperial Cult.
Antonius Rato is convinced that the deserter's renouncement of his faith is genuine. He promised to set the deserter free.
Maria was greatly pleased with my work of bringing the new guard to the Chapel of Dibella.
Maria was disappointed that Trelam Sethri was dead.
