Arquebald Vene asked me to visit Maniel Sylbenitte and ask him about his research into the cursed sapphire.

Maniel Sylbenitte managed to manufacture a gem that summons a random non-hostile Daedra. He gave it to me.

When I returned to Arquebald Vene's office, he was nowhere to be found.

I learned from Valkreia Krex that Arquebald's door may lead somewhere else if I have the right key. She suggested that he was most likely waiting for me there and that the key could probably be found in his office.

I have entered the personal project of Arquebald Vene. Unfortunately the door locked behind me, and he is once again nowhere to be found.

I found the body of Potelie Sincel.

Arquebald Vene was sad to hear that Potelie Sincel is dead and asked me to bring a page of her log that might shed more light on the corruption of the pocket guildhall.

I delivered Potelie Sincel's log to Arquebald Vene.
