Yamandalkal

Arch-Mage Gindaman asked me to visit Yamandalkal, a Daedric ruin on Althoa, and exchange information with Xivilai Tatho, a powerful Daedra. Gindaman told me that I will need to initiate the exchange by offering Tatho a soul. He then directed me to Absolon in the College, who will provide me with what I need to accomplish this. In order not to upset the delicate relationship between the Mages Guild and the Daedra, Gindaman warned me to do exactly as Absolon instructs.

I spoke with Absolon about Gindaman's instructions. Absolon seemed hesitant to send me to Yamandalkal, but in the end gave me both a soul gem to offer upon the altar in Yamandalkal's sanctum as well as the message for Xivilai Tatho. While the message is not in Tamrielic, I find I can recall it with precision and clarity.

I have delivered the message from Absolon to Xivilai Tatho. In return, the Daedra shared a word: YASHAZ.

I refused Xivilai Tatho's invitation to hear his offer.

Arch-Mage Gindaman was glad to hear that the message delivery to Yamandalkal was accomplished without issue. As a reward for delivering the Odylic Mage's message and returning with the new one, the Arch-Mage gave me a Sword of the Eye of the World.

Arch-Mage Gindaman was angry that Xivilai Tatho was killed. He seems unlikely to offer me further duties.
