Paying Dues

In the Market Quarter of Narsis I met a merchant named Gaelrin claiming that he got swindled by the Camonna Tong. He says a Camonna Tong member, pretending to be a Hlaalu official, demanded 400 septims in zoning and permit fees, which he paid in full. I agreed to help him recover the money. Gaelrin told me the impostor's name is Merona Thirith, and she uses the Market Quarter sewers as her hideout.

I found Merona Thirith in the Marker Quarter sewers. She offered me the gold that she extorted from Gaelrin if I give him a beating.

I convinced Merona to give me the money.

I agreed to Merona's offer.

I convinced Sodreru Hlaalu to intervene in Gaelrin's situation. She told me to reassure Gaelrin that he'll be compensated and shouldn't worry about the Camonna Tong anymore.

Gaelrin thanked me for returning the money. He gave me half of the gold that I recovered.

Gaelrin was happy to hear that Sodreru Hlaalu agreed to intervene.

I beat Gaelrin in a fight. He gave me the little gold he had left.

Merona Thirith paid me all the gold she got from Gaelrin for the beating I gave him.

Gaelrin wasn't happy to hear that Merona is dead. He gave me some gold for returning the money.

I decided to give Gaelrin the gold I received for beating him. He wasn't very pleased with this solution.

I decided to not give Gaelrin the money I received for beating him.

Gaelrin didn't survive the fight. Merona Thirith wasn't pleased with it and gave me a smaller reward than we agreed on.
