Rilvyn Kren at the Fortuna asked me to convince Arniel Duront, an apprentice of the local Mages Guild, to pay off his gambling debt of 1500 gold. He warned me not to harm Arniel, and mentioned that he'll reward me with a rare piece of armor if I make Duront pay the gold directly to him.
Robbing the Ancestors
Arniel claimed that he doesn't have enough money to settle his gambling debt. However, he suggested we could rob an ancestral tomb -- the Kren Ancestral Tomb, specifically -- to get the money for him. He said that the tomb contains a pair of Adamantium blades, one of which would sell for enough to cover his debt.
I agreed to assist Arniel. He will be waiting for me inside the Kren Ancestral Tomb, which is located northeast of Septim's Gate Pass, the border outpost west of Narsis. Arniel said I can find it on a dirt track just after the last bridge on the way to Septim's Gate Pass.
I met Arniel Duront in the ancestral tomb. He wanted me to speak with him when we're at a locked door, so that he can use his spell to take care of it.
I decided to keep both swords found inside the tomb for myself. Angered, Arniel Duront attacked me.
I shared the swords found inside the tomb with Arniel Duront. He suggested that I return to Rilvyn Kren and claim my reward.
I helped Arniel Duront settle his gambling debt by offering him 1500 gold. He suggested that I return to Rilvyn Kren and claim my reward.
I told Rilvyn Kren that Arniel Duront is now ready to pay his gambling debt. He rewarded me with an Imperial cuirass.
I told Rilvyn Kren about Arniel's plans to rob the Kren Ancestral Tomb. He rewarded me with gold and told me he would find another way to deal with Arniel Duront.
Rilvyn Kren was angered by the news of Arniel Duront's death.
Rilvyn Kren is dead.
Arniel Duront thanked me for disposing of Rilvyn Kren.
