Strabo's Book Problem

Larienna Strabo, the Imperial tax collector in Hlan Oek, has asked me to retrieve a tax ledger from the Hlaalu Council Company tradehouse. The ledger is secured in the basement of the tradehouse.

I asked Edrys Teri about the ledger. She was suspicious of Strabo's motives and asked me to tell Governor Feldril Sathis about the tax collector's request.

I spoke to Feldril Sathis about Larienna Strabo's request. He asked me to search Larienna Strabo's house, and to report back to him if I find anything incriminating.

I returned the ledger to Larienna Strabo. She rewarded me with gold.

I confronted Larienna Strabo about the discrepancies between the tax ledger and her report. She admitted to skimming taxes and gave me half her earnings to keep quiet.

I brought Larienna Strabo's tax reports to Feldril Sathis. It showed she had been underreporting taxes in order to keep some of the payments for herself. The governor rewarded me for discovering her plot.

Larienna Strabo is dead. The tax ledger is no longer a concern.

I have obtained the tax ledger that Larienna Strabo needed.
