The Face Stealer

Former Speaker Gilse Areth asked me to rescue Vaden Baro. He ventured to the cave of Nalad, west of Necrom and southwest of the Sacred Lands Sanctuary.

Deep in Nalad, an Ordinator named Brelar Aradil explained that a creature known as the Face Stealer killed Vaden Baro and stole his identity. Brelar managed to trap the Face Stealer in a dark room, as darkness protects one from its powers. I have been asked to put an end to this foe.

Vaden Baro, or something pretending to be Vaden Baro, told me that Brelar outside was the true Face Stealer. Vaden gave me a helmet with the face missing and prayed that it might provide protection against the monster's powers.

I have slain the faceless man claiming to be Vaden Baro.

Seeing a foe without a face confused the Face Stealer, disabling some of its abilities and lending me some of its power.

Vaden Baro's face has returned to him. I have been asked to return to Uvo Brin in Necrom.

Uvo Brin gave me a sacred cuirass and sent me back to Vaden Baro in Almas Thirr.

I reported Vaden Baro's death to Uvo Brin.
