The Speed of Lightning

Lleresia Himnu said that Murenio Galtrix at the Old Ebonheart Docks should be bringing in a shipment of garyx rubber today. She said if I head there right away, I should be able to acquire it for Lleresia before he sells it to someone else. She advised that I head there on foot with the Boots of Lightning Speed rather than use a caravaner's services if I want to make it there on time.

I collected the shipment of garyx rubber from Murenio Galtrix on Lleresia Himnu's behalf.

I didn't get to Murenio in time, and he already sold the shipment of garyx rubber to the alchemist Narusya. She has a store in the west end of Old Ebonheart, near the Imperial Archaeological Society building.

I returned to Lleresia Himnu with the shipment of garyx rubber.

I declined Lleresia Himnu's offer to upgrade the Boots of Lightning Speed for now.

I took Lleresia up on her offer to strengthen the enchantment on the Boots of Lightning Speed. She nicknamed my upgraded boots the Lightspeed Sabatons.

'Lleresia Himnu, Othrenis' is inscribed on one of the soles of the Boots of Lightning Speed.

On the road south from Vhul, I met an Imperial named Vontus, who was eager to race me. After taking my 25 septims, he ran off to the southeast at a tremendous speed, screaming in apparent pain.

I found Vontus dead near the hamlet Saveri. Whether he hit an obstacle or fell victim to the deleterious side of his enchantment is hard to determine.

I tried to return the Boots of Lightning Speed to their creator, Lleresia Himnu, but she said I may as well keep them and asked for help with an experiment.
