The merchant? Yes, he rents one of the rooms on the second floor. He doesn't spend much time there, but as long as he pays on time, which he does, I don't really care.

It's good that my sister sent him to the dungeons. That's where people like him belong. A sick freak. I only wish I could have done it myself.

Wherever that sick freak is now, I hope he'll get what he deserves eventually.

He did what to me? Ugh! I suppose I should at least be thankful the animal wasn't in season. Thank you for freeing me from the torture. It was unbearable. You're a mage, right? Here, take this amulet and get rid of it. Or hold onto it if you desire. Just keep it far away from me!

Yes. Nice man. Feeds me sometimes.

Yes, that's me. What can I do for you?

Yes, that's me. What can I do for you?

He's gone? But why? Couldn't you have waited until you found out what exactly he's done to my brother? Now he'll stay mad forever. You're just as bad as the rest of them! Leave me alone!

You have been expelled, %PCRank. You have to make amends before talking about this further.

Well, killing one of our own was probably the worst thing you could have done in this situation. You are expelled.

I'd rather not talk about him anymore.

Are you sure he's responsible? We don't want to attract bad publicity to the guild. If he really is, get him to reverse whatever it is he did, and do it discreetly. You should be able to find him somewhere in the guildhall. Once you resolve the matter, make sure that Ralani Danoran woman knows about it, so she can stop bothering me.

I'd rather not talk about him anymore.

He's a member of the Guild now.

You did what? I specifically remember asking you to recruit the new mage, not slaughter him for the whole city to see! What do you think this will do to this guild's reputation, you imbecile! I don't think I have any more duties for you.

Ernandre Nermin agreed to join the guild? Good job, %pcrank. This should show everyone that we in the Mages Guild take our monopoly very seriously. Are you perhaps interested in more duties?

As I've said, he has a stall by the fountain. Go convince him to join the Mages Guild.

He's set up shop at the fountain and has been peddling magical wares to the townsfolk. Now, technically this isn't illegal, but it could interfere with the guild trade agreements on such things, and so I'd like you to get him to join the Mages Guild so all these technicalities can conveniently go away. Plus, it would show the townsfolk that the Mages Guild is ever vigilant and might even discourage any further attempts by other merchants to try to compete with us.
