I do not appreciate being second-guessed, %PCRank. Sycora is an unrestrained conjurer within my demesne who plays with Daedra as if they were toys. That she is relatively unskilled only makes the situation more urgent. If I do not get the better of her now, one of her little experiments will, and it shall fall to me to deal with it.

I am not obliged to justify myself to you, %PCRank. I do what I must for the benefit of the Velothi under my care. Your understanding and consent are not factors.

Have you truly come here to chide me? You are a fool. Whatever you're speaking of, I have no knowledge of it.

%Name already told you that the contract on her was placed by the Indoril Ilvi. %Name did not ask or care to hear why.

%Name likes you. He also likes his friend the Indoril Ilvi, who paid generously for Margia Sycora to die. So whatever you do with this information, make sure it does not affect %Name's future income.

%Name doesn't gossip about his contracts. That is why he gets the best ones. And %Name does not think jeopardizing this by breaking his rule now would be a good idea.

I was ordered to kill her by Ja'Basska, the Guild's ranking member in Almas Thirr. But I don't remember who ordered the contract. Why would that matter anyway?

It's really my fault for going in unprepared. I figured she'd have some tricks up her sleeve, but to do something like that? I underestimated her.

You've helped me immensely. If you have the coin and you're ever interested in training, just let me know.

Ilvi? Of course. I must've gotten too brazen with my experiments. At least now I know who I'm up against. As promised, I'll teach you what I know about alchemy and conjuration. IF you have the coin for it. I don't work for free.

So Ja'Basska is dead, and no one but him knew who placed the contract. That means you're useless to me. Our deal is off. Kindly remove yourself from my dwelling, %PCClass.

So because Foedus Locutius is dead, you can't find out who placed the contract. That means you're useless to me. Our deal is off. Kindly remove yourself from my dwelling, %PCClass.

We have a deal. I expect you to carry it out to the letter.

What do you want?
