I guess I should've believed in my daughter more. A father's got to learn to let go. Llandras Dilvasel
I know she's upset, %PCName, but I do what I do because I care about her. It's for her own good. Llandras Dilvasel
Now don't give me that. I'll tell you the same thing I told Reryna. It's too dangerous. Riding a strider is not like riding a guar. And how would she learn? My wife is busy enough as it is. She'll tell you herself that it's a bad idea. No, my daughter won't be getting involved in such things. How about you tell her to get a job in the mines instead? Llandras Dilvasel
Look, I'm not against Reryna becoming a stridermaster. What parent wouldn't be proud of their baby wanting to follow in their footsteps? But Llandras has a point. She's just a kid. I'm not sure if she knows what she's getting herself into. That said... I do know what it's like to be young and starry-eyed. I can't train her myself, but what if she were to become another stridermaster's apprentice? Talnesa Dilvasel
Really? You mean it? Oh, I can't thank you enough! Please, talk to my parents for me. My mom, Talnesa, is working right now. My dad, Llandras, should be at the Hem and Harper. Reryna Dilvasel
All my life, I've wanted to be a stridermaster like my mother. You know -- see new places, meet different people. My mother was supportive, but my father said it's too dangerous. Now she's taken his side and they're both against it! I'm not a kid anymore. I know it's going to be hard, but it's my calling. Could you maybe help me convince my parents to let me go? Please. I'm serious about this. I'll work hard for it. Reryna Dilvasel
