Well, that would be cruel. Not to her, she's dead, but to the very art of magic itself. When you encounter something unique, you don't waste it immediately to get a shiny trinket, you preserve it, and you savor it.

Of course, the decision is yours, as you have the soul gem, but I would advise very strongly against this course of action. If you were to do this, you would doom Missa to eternal suffering. She won't be able to react or show it in any way, but she will feel everything that the enchanted staff does, and she will not like it.

Have you managed to try the staff out on some rascals? What do you think about the enchantments? I think they perfectly convey a mage in her prime.

Excellent. I am glad that you agree with my point of view. I have a shining silver staff ready to be enchanted. It will suit Missa's soul nicely. [She takes the soul gem and applies the enchantment.] Alright, here we are. Beautiful, is it not? Here, you can have it. May each strike honor her.

Well, where is the soul gem that I'm supposed to use?

Fine. I will be here if you have a change of heart.

Ah, so you agree that we should use the leftover energy for an enchantment?

Are you speaking of my enchantments? Glad someone appreciates them.
