Cyrtus Clagno seemed like a decent worker, if of weak faith. I never would've thought that he could do something like this. Lancen Pariclopetus Disposition ≥ 30
The more I think about it, the more likely it seems that Cyrtus Clagno might be involved. He seemed like a decent sort. Hard-working, down on his luck, like many of the poorer people of Old Ebonheart. But I have no idea what would drive him to steal those worthless tokens. Lancen Pariclopetus Disposition ≥ 30
Unless this was a misguided Thieves Guild operation, I think Cyrtus Clagno, one of our lay members, might have something to do with it. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but ever since he arrived from High Rock, he's been less than enthusiastic about his service. We paid him well enough, but he was never really happy. He started showing up more regularly the last few months, then he vanished around the same time that the tokens disappeared. Might be worth looking into. Lancen Pariclopetus Disposition ≥ 30
Everyone believes the thief was one of those lay servants who occasionally visit the chapel to perform menial tasks for money. Their motive is quite understandable, but people tend to gloss over them. Except for Lancen Pariclopetus, down in the Undercroft under the Towers. He seems to remember everybody in the chapel. I will not talk about this with you until you make amends and rejoin the Imperial Cult. Felmo Ilveroth
Thank you, %PCName. It's of course sad to hear about the fate of one of our lay servants, but I hope and pray that Cyrtus Clagno is at peace now. It sounds like he was afflicted with brass fever. It's a rare disease, but it seems to more commonly affect those with particular beliefs about Tiber Septim and the Dwemer. We don't like to talk about it. Brass fever has always been a bit of a taboo for Western healers. So please be discreet about all this, and take this gold as a token of my gratitude. Felmo Ilveroth

Have you been to Bthung? If Cyrtus Clagno did travel there, I would expect him to be somewhere outside it. Felmo Ilveroth
Very strange, %PCRank. The writings you've found are those of a madman who has... oh dear. It sounds like Cyrtus left for a Dwemer ruin. While there are several nearby, the mention of a volcano makes me think of Bthung, which is on the eastern slope of the Mount Aras volcano to the east of here. Please go find him and bring back the tokens. Cyrtus is a good lay servant, but not the most courageous man. I doubt he could enter the ruins proper -- he's probably somewhere outside it. Cyrtus Clagno? Yes, I remember him. Although he was decent at his jobs, he was always a strange person. He cared little about his pay, and was deeply concerned about various cults of Talos and certain aspects of our faith. Obsessed with them, even. I fear the worst. Cyrtus once gave me a spare key to his house. It's in the poor quarter, near the docks. Please search it for more clues. Felmo Ilveroth
Find out who stole the brass tokens and get them back. Ask around the chapel for leads, %PCRank. Felmo Ilveroth
During religious festivals meant to reinforce the citizens' faith in Talos, we broker certain deals with the local inns and taverns. The traditions established in numerous Talos cults require that we hand out brass tokens that can be traded in for drinks and food. Recently, however, our priests discovered that almost all of them -- thirty in total -- are missing. I want you to find out who stole them and get them back. Start by asking around the chapel for leads. Felmo Ilveroth
