At the docks of Roa Dyr, I spoke to Eveshi Drilor about a delicate problem she was having and agreed to help her. She suspects that one of the slaves is stealing from the ships, and wants me to find out which one of them it is, as well as what their motive is. Eveshi also believes that the slave couldn't sell the stolen items, so that they must still be around somewhere, probably in a nearby stash. If I find it, it may reveal some clues about the culprit.
Extrajudicial Punishment
Milres Drothril, the ship's overseer, suggested I search the slaves. If a slave is carrying an item not recorded on the Whispered Tenet manifest, that slave must be the thief I'm looking for.
I have discovered that the thief is Talen-Ei.
I told Eveshi Drilor that I was unable to identify the culprit. She was disappointed, but grateful for the effort.
I reported the identity of the thief to Eveshi Drilor.
I returned the stolen items to Eveshi Drilor.
Eveshi Drilor urgently wants me to bring a note to Diranya.
Eveshi Drilor gave me the note and explained that Diranya is the Altmer chaplain of Roa Dyr located in Ilvi House.
I gave the note to Diranya.
I returned to Eveshi Drilor. She told me that Talen-Ei was taken away, but still rewarded me for my efforts.
I reported Talen-Ei to Diranya.
I spoke to Eveshi Drilor. She was furious that I have reported Talen-Ei.
I freed Talen-Ei.
I spoke to Eveshi Drilor. She was furious that I have freed Talen-Ei.
Eveshi Drilor is dead.
Talen-Ei is dead.
Eveshi Drilor decided that the problem doesn't matter now that Diranya is dead.
Eveshi Drilor decided that the problem doesn't matter now that Indoril Ilvi is dead.
Talen-Ei revealed the location of his stash to me. I would need to go to the opposite side of the hill in front of the northern docks. It should be in a sack, hidden in a small cluster of rocks near the river.
I found a sack that contains the items Eveshi Drilor spoke of.
