I spoke with a Dunmer named Galdarys Alen in his apartment on the Narsis Waterfront. He's worried about his senile mother, Drilame Alen, who never returned home from one of her walks. I agreed to help find her. Galdarys suggested that I begin my search around the Market Quarter.
Rescue the Pot Lady
Narsis' caravaner said that he hadn't seen Drilame Alen since she purchased a ride to Shipal-Sharai from him. He mentioned that it was highly unusual for Drilame to leave the city, and that he told Shipal-Sharai's caravaner not to let her travel anywhere but back home.
Shipal-Sharai's caravaner admitted that she gave Drilame Alen a ride to Septim's Gate Pass after Drilame significantly overpaid for the trip. However, just before they reached the fort, she suddenly demanded to be let off and began walking north. The caravaner has no idea where she could've been going, but mentioned that people in Septim's Gate Pass would know the area better than her.
Submerged-In-Murky-Depths, a scout at Septim's Gate Pass, believes that Drilame Alen may have been drawn to the Daedric ruin of Ashurbalipal. He stressed that the ruin and its residents are exceedingly dangerous, and that even if Drilame made it there successfully, there is a very good chance she is dead. In the event that she is alive, he recommended I bring a Divine Intervention scroll for her.
I found Drilame Alen in the Daedric ruin of Ashurbalipal. While obviously unwell mentally, she appears to be perfectly fine physically. She agreed to return home if I bring her a scroll of Divine Intervention.
I gave Drilame Alen a scroll of Divine Intervention so that she can return home.
Galdarys Alen thanked me for returning his mother safely. He rewarded me with some gold.
Galdarys Alen was devastated to hear of his mother's death.
Galdarys Alen is dead.
