Slave Rising

Staunch-Roots, a slave in Nanaav outside of the slave quarters, asked me to find him some Indoril books so that he can try to become an Indoril clerk. Specifically, he's looking for books on Indoril law and Temple theology. He thinks three would be enough, and suggested I ask members of House Indoril for additional guidance.

I gave Staunch-Roots three Indoril books. He told me that it would take five days for him to take the clerk exam. If he succeeds, I will be able to find him in the Clerks and Chandlers Hall within Beroth House.

Staunch-Roots has had the Indoril books for five days.

Staunch-Roots has successfully become a clerk. For bringing him the Indoril books he needed, he rewarded me with some flowers and another book.

Staunch-Roots thanked me for freeing him.

Staunch-Roots is dead.
