When the Nord's Away...

Cap'n Fentus wants me to steal a pair of Snow Hare Boots belonging to Hhontjulf Fire-Mane. The Nord's currently away on a hunting trip, so his house should be empty. Rifskald Whalebane holds the key to Hhontjulf's house.

Rifskald Whalebane gave me the key to Hhontjulf Fire-Mane's house. Rifskald said he had promised to feed Hhontjulf's wolfdog Halli in his absence, but he's too afraid of doing it. He said that Halli loves rat meat more than anything, and mentioned he had poisoned some of his rat meat.

I have poisoned Halli the Wolfdog.

Halli the Wolfdog is dead.

Cap'n Fentus thanked me for the Snow Hare Boots. He gave me two Potions of Sweet Little Lies as a reward.

Even though he was sad to hear that the dog had died, Cap'n Fentus thanked me for the Snow Hare Boots. He gave me a Potion of Sweet Little Lies as a reward.
